Kansas City Commercial Cement Masons

2025 WAGES

Effective April 1, 2025, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Area Commercial Cement Masons’ Agreement for Journeypersons are $40.13 per hour plus $20.90 per hour in fringe benefit payments.

*WAGES $40.13
HEALTH & WELFARE $8.65 PER HOUR
PENSION $11.15 PER HOUR
ADVANCEMENT FUND $.35 PER HOUR
APPRENTICESHIP FUND $.70 PER HOUR

CISAP $.05 PER HOUR
*VACATION FUND $2.00 PER HOUR

*TARGET FUND $.25 PER HOUR

FOREMAN: 2 or 3 Men: $ 1.50 per hour above base wage
FOREMAN: 4 OR MORE MEN: $ 2.00 per hour above base wage
GENERAL FOREMAN: Contractors Discretion

The increase of $3.00 was appropriated to Wages.   The Advancement Fund was also increased $.01.

THE TOTAL PACKAGE FOR A JOURNEYPERSON IS $61.03

*The $40.13 wage is taxed and the $2.00 Vacation Fund, $.25 Target Fund and dues of $2.44 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.



2024 WAGES

Effective April 1, 2024, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Area Commercial Cement Masons’ Agreement for Journeypersons are $37.13 per hour plus $20.89 per hour in fringe benefit payments.

APPRENTICESHIP FUND $.70 PER HOUR

*TARGET FUND $.25 PER HOUR

FOREMAN: 2 or 3 Men: $ 1.50 per hour above base wage
FOREMAN: 4 OR MORE MEN: $ 2.00 per hour above base wage
GENERAL FOREMAN: Contractors Discretion

The increase of $1.10 was appropriated to Wages.   

THE TOTAL PACKAGE FOR A JOURNEYPERSON IS $58.02.

*The $37.13 wage is taxed and the $2.00 Vacation Fund, $.25 Target Fund and dues of $2.32 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.



Kansas City Heavy Cement Masons

The Heavy Agreement covers the following counties:  Jackson, Clay, Cass, Platte, and Ray in Missouri and Wyandotte, Johnson, Miami, and Leavenworth in Kansas.  Any Heavy work done in any other county will fall under the Commercial agreement for that county.

Effective April 1, 2025, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Heavy Constructors Agreement for Cement Mason Journeypersons are $39.06 per hour plus $19.11 per hour fringe benefit payments.

PENSION $9.26 PER HOUR
ADVANCEMENT FUND $.40 PER HOUR
APPRENTICESHIP FUND $.70 PER HOUR

*VACATION FUND $4.00 PER HOUR

*TARGET FUND $.25 PER HOUR


FOREMEN (5 men and over),  $1.00 PER HOUR ABOVE BASE WAGE

 The increase of $1.45 was allocated to Wages.

 THE TOTAL PACKAGE FOR A JOURNEYPERSON IS $58.17

 *The $39.06 wage is taxed and the $4.00 Vacation Fund, $.25 Target Fund and Dues of $2.33 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.



2024 WAGES

Effective April 1, 2024, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Heavy Constructors Agreement for Cement Mason Journeypersons are $37.61 per hour plus $19.11 per hour fringe benefit payments.

 The increase of $1.45 was allocated as follows: $.41 to Pension and $1.04 to Wages

 THE TOTAL PACKAGE FOR A JOURNEYPERSON IS $56.72

 *The $37.61 wage is taxed and the $4.00 Vacation Fund, $.25 Target Fund and Dues of $2.27 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.



Kansas City Light Commercial/Residential Cement Masons & Plasterers

Effective April 1, 2019, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Area Light Commercial/Residential Cement Masons’ & Plasterers’ Agreement for Journeypersons are $26.61 per hour plus $10.54 per hour in fringe benefit payments. 

*WAGES $26.61
HEALTH & WELFARE $6.73 PER HOUR
PENSION $3.00 PER HOUR
ADVANCEMENT FUND $.32 PER HOUR
APPRENTICESHIP FUND $.44 PER HOUR
CISAP $.05 PER HOUR

FOREMAN:  $1.50 per hour above base wage

The $.50 increase was distributed as follows: $.25 on the Welfare Fund and $.25 on Wages.  The Advancement Fund was also increased $.01.


THE TOTAL PACKAGE FOR A JOURNEYPERSON IS $37.15.

*The $26.61 wage is taxed and the dues of $1.49 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.

*The $37.92 wage is taxed and the $3.50 Vacation Fund, $.25 Target Fund and Dues of $2.29 are deducted in whole and sent in with the fringe benefits.

Effective April 1, 2024, the wages and benefits agreed to in our Kansas City Plasterers’ Local Union #518 Agreement for Journeypersons are $36.67 per hour plus $19.23 per hour in fringe benefit payments.
